Their recipe combines ginger, spirulina, fennel, and eggs to offer a different recipe from pellets and easily vary the ingredients distributed to your aquarium shrimp.
A Ginger, Spirulina & Fennel recipe
Shrimpsfood Lollies consist of wooden sticks covered with a food mixture.
Once placed in the aquarium, the shrimp gradually gather around the lollies to consume the food on the sticks.
This recipe combines:
- Ginger
- Spirulina
- Fennel
- Eggs
This combination makes it possible to include a different recipe in the feeding rotation of Caridina and Neocaridina.

These shrimp lollies can be offered to many species and strains of freshwater shrimp kept in an aquarium.
They are particularly suitable for Crystal Red, Crystal Black, Taiwan Bee, Red Cherry, Blue Dream, Bloody Mary, Sakura, Yellow Neon, and many other Caridina and Neocaridina.
Why choose Shrimpsfood Ginger, Spirulina & Fennel Lollies?
- 10 lollies per pack
- 25 cm size
- Ginger, Spirulina, Fennel & Egg recipe
- Help vary shrimp diet
- Facilitate observation of the colony during feeding
- Complement pellets and the biofilm naturally present in the aquarium
- Simple use directly in the tank
- Handcrafted in Rennes, Brittany (France)
How to use the lollies?
Simply place the lollies directly into the aquarium substrate or in a suitable holder.
The shrimp will naturally gather around the sticks to consume the food.
Once the food has been consumed, remove the wooden sticks from the aquarium.
What quantity to distribute?
One stick can be suitable for about 40 shrimp, but this indication is approximate.
Consumption depends on the number of shrimp, their size, the maturity of the aquarium, and the amount of natural food already available.
Always adapt the quantities distributed to the actual consumption of your colony.
Ingredients
Eggs, Ginger, Spirulina, Fennel.
Why vary the shrimp's diet?
In a mature aquarium, shrimp naturally consume biofilm, microorganisms, and various organic materials present on surfaces.
The distributed food complements this natural diet. Alternating several recipes allows you to offer different ingredients rather than systematically distributing the same food.
Ginger, Spirulina & Fennel Lollies can thus be alternated with other Shrimpsfood recipes as well as with pellets.
Lollies or pellets for shrimp?
Both formats can be used in a complementary way.
Shrimp pellets allow for simple distribution in a dish or directly in the aquarium, while lollies offer a different way of feeding directly on the sticks.
